Kartell

Kartell, the smart, high-end international furniture store, now has an outpost in the Dominican Republic. They make and sell contemporary plastic furniture, and they have stores on every major continent, and now in the colonial zone section of Santo Domingo.

Next door is this new place, or maybe just new to me. Just some of the beauty found in the colonial zone.

LeeStudiosNYC @ The Whiskey Lounge

Last night Lee Studios NYC held a party at the Whiskey Lounge. The Whiskey Lounge could be a nice spot, but unfortunately they don't quite know what to do with it. Last night showed the great possibilities of the space. Lee Studios blended the perfect melange of people, space & ambiance, though the 9 dancers didn't hurt. It was the perfect blend of locals and tourists. There were even a few Dominican socialites milling about.

I think this should be a regular party.

Am I Dreaming?

For many years, I had seen his photos all over the internet. And finally, I was able to meet him in person. In the Dominican Republic.

I was at JayDee's on Saturday night and in walked in a vision. I couldn't make out his face, but the body was amazing. As I investigated further I found out it was a guy whose face I had seen thousands of times. From his nude photo shoot in 1993 to seeing his likeness on countless online profiles. I made my way over immediately to see if I could get his likeness on my trusty Canon Digital Elph. He agreed and I commenced to taking some photos. He even showed up last night to the Whiskey Lounge.

Can you believe he is almost 40 (38!).
