AA and Jetblue are getting ridiculous with their airfares to the DR...in January for travel on 2nd of July ( I know it's a USA holiday but damn it's 6months ahead of time--- the tickets on AA are over 600 dollars and Jetblue is 700 dollars unless you do multiple stops (that's sucks)just for a weekend!
