4th of July

I pray everyone reading this from the States had a great 4th of July.

Yesterday, David Lee, gave his annual 4th of July shindig. It was hands-down, the best one yet. It was drizzling off and on, but that in no way stopped the revelry, and the conversation was going fiercely. There were so many people there (I didn't get photos of everyone) and the Stoli was flowing quite freely. It was really good getting together with other Americans (and our Dominican friends) to celebrate America's birthday.

Everyone mentioned that it is a shame that we don't do this more often. I agree. The only thing I would do differently is not let Byron talk me into buying more Stoli. I should've stopped before that last drink. LOL!

Oh well. I had a great time, got a chance to talk with some great people and can't wait for the party next year.

David, I want to thank you for the great food, drink and hospitality.

The party was fantastic. David is a always a wonderful host. That thrid bottle of Stoli was Anthony's idea. My head is still banging. Who is hosting the Labor Day festivities?

Thanks for the update, but you didn't mention Mario Session's 4th of July event. Did it happen? Was he invited?

I have some friends who changed their travel plans, ($150.00 a piece)-- to avoid being there during his event. Unlike before, they did't want to be counted as one of his attendees.

Aside, you would have loved Macy's Fireworks show at the Water Club. Liza Minnelli kicked butt singing "New York, New York". I was so shocked.

We love your blog.

Peace & blessings.

Did Liza borrow a hip from Chita Rivera?

Byron, I won't go as far to compare her to Madame Rivera, but Ms. Liza did move enough to make me wonder if her new hip came from Puerto Rico. Smile.

My God! Is that Joe Green in Santo Domingo again? How does he do it?That man spends more time in SD than he does in the states which makes me "green" with envy! Hope you had a most excellent 4th of July.
From Puerto Rico,
Rafael

Anthony the pictures look great reminded me so much of the way we used to celebrate the holidays here in the states. What about Labor Day? I'll come down and cook some ribs if I'm not blown away by some hurricane by then, I just checked with Spirit Air and they have flights from Florida for $88.00 each way + taxes.

David is such a good host..I am jealous that I always miss his big parties. We are lucky to have a pool hall to visit with our friends and make new friends.

I just read that taxes on many items including liquor have been reduced by 13% to 16%. I hope we see that in reduced prices.

No axe to grind... then shut the fuck up about his parties or anyone parties in the DR. I dont see you doing any parties in the DR. Its alway that sissy thats never there but live off of someone's blog for information, travel as much as ms to the DR and then you can make such comments. Until then your comments are as dumb and you trying to catch a bus to get there.

lol this is a public site for now. don't like my comments then stop faking and pretending M S by being anonymous. about your fanclub, not many left once they get to know the real ones in the Dr.now to the point I came here to make. so many young dr guys with old ass men, bfs, tricks, tourists, whatever you want to call them, in the pictures. I know beauty is skin deep but those guys got to be desperate for the almighty american dolla.(yep I purposely spelled it dolla).fYI I've decided not to go to the dr this year to many of you desperate Johns

Give yourself a few years, Sweetie. You'll be one of us. And maybe (but I won't hold my breath) you'll be a little bit wiser and somewhat more tolerant.

Naw. Sweety is the type who is constantly at the gym, trying to prevent the ravages of age. He will be wearing hip hop clothes trying to disguise the age marks and celluloise polluting his gut.

Wait! He is already there.
