There is a new supermodel in the making, Austria Ulloa Alcantara. This beauty from a small town in the Dominican Republic, won the Ford Supermodel 2007 (Dominican Republic version). She then went on to compete in the international competition. She didn't win, but she is now signed to one of the most prestigious and powerful modeling agencies in the world, IMG Models.

She is indeed gorgeous! That closeup is quite a portrait. What a shame, however, that the industry still requires the anorexic look. With a few more pounds, she'd rival Sophia Loren in her prime! (Sophia, by the way, is still a gorgeous woman.)

OMG what is wrong w/ u you all. Yes she is beautiful, BUT she is not drop down gorgeous. She has a long face, her legs has no sex appeal their just long, she is too young, and she is too anorexia feed this child. And to compare her to Sophia Loren I don’t think so! SL was hot in her prime and still is.
Ananymous, did you read my post carefully? I think you missed my point, which is the same as yours. I was ONTRASTING her with Sophia because of the anexoric look. She does indeed need to feed herself if she wants to become Sophia-like, but she does, in my opinion, have the foundation, including that beautiful face (the one point where perhaps we disagree),
All that being said, Beauty is, indeed, in the eyes of the beholder (thank God).
IM GOING TO TELL YOU SOMETHING.... i've known this girl for a long time and she does not have anorexia, she eats a lot and healthy, and i think that its repulsive the way you judge people without even knowing them and i think you should be ashamed of your selfs...ooh!! and by the way i also believe she is very skinny but if that's what all magazine buyers and fashion designers want....thats exactly what they are getting...LONG LIVE D.R

Come on people, when I go to Domincan Republice. I see thousands of girls much more beautiful then this girl. Im trying to figure out why people are making a big deal out ot this girl. I mean she must have a family member in IMG Model that is trying to make her more then what she is. Because she is completly average looking girl. I mean in Domincan Republic no one would even notice her. So let stop making this girl out to be more then she is enough already people grow up and look at the real supermodels..
She's gorgeous, plain and simple, especially her smile.
