Barahona

Everyone has their reasons for going on vacation. If you are looking for a place to unwind, then checkout the southwestern section of the Dominican Republic. There are not any mass market tourist offerings (yet!) in the southwest, but there is a new upscale place called the Casa Bonita Tropical Lodge.

I have always talked about different places to spend your vacation in the Dominican Republic. Barahona is the "spot." It is beautiful, unspoiled, and has some of the most secluded beaches in the country.

This listing was for those looking for something nicer.

If you want more information about what else is going on in Barahona, or way to stay that is more affordable for you, then go to www.google.com and type in Barahona Dominican Republic information.

If you want to visit Barahona you can take the bus Caribe Tours or rent a car. Anthony gives all the other information you need. Why are people asking questions when the information is there. READ. For boys hit the town square with cash ready. You'll always find one or two hot ones down there. They can open the necessary doors for you.

they can open doors!!! this is getting interesting !! why did you wait this long to let me know?

Anonymous said...

Yes...We thought Barahona was just a sleepy little old town...move over Santo Domingo.

That is the info I have been waiting for...so there are hot available "tour guides" who will show me a good time there.

Anthony was really being kind of rude and nasty, don't you think? He posted this, some people ask a few questions and he sarcastically sends them to google. Nice. Way to go with your readers Anthony. Things may be going rough down there, but you shouldn't take it out on your loyal readers. You featured something that people wanted to know more about. Granted, maybe some folks didn't click on the link, but maybe they didn't notice it. Give us a break and have some faith in us, as we do in you. Thank you, a loyal reader who doesn't appreciate seeing other loyal readers being mistreated. Thank you.

Nasty? Rude?

No, I don't think so. When I am trying to be nasty and rude you will surely see it as such.

All this was is a place I found on the internet. You want more information? I pointed you in the right direction.

How is that rude or nasty?

Stop looking for shit where there is none.

How could any body think that sending you to google information was rude or nasty..or mistreating? Anthony has been giving us a free service that he does not get paid for, and we appreciate it.I think that you are just overly sensitive. I didn't read anything sarcastic in his reply. However it was OK to speak your mind.

It is kind of typical baby fed mentality. Post a question someplace and expect a reply in the afternoon. If nobody replies, then type on capital letters why nobody replies. As Anthony said, you can find it yourself via google.

On the other hand, how many of us here have information but refuse to give any? Take take take, but never give.

Google is good, and so is DR1. If you click on the "Travel" tab up top, you'll see the first entry is a long post on Barahona. Lots of good information.

The lady who lived across the hall from me in Vancouver was from SD, and she couldn't stop extolling Barahona. She urged me to go see it the next time I'm in the DR. She advises renting a 4-wheel drive to get to all the great places.

If you buy the typical DR road map they sell all over SD, you'll see there are some interesting drives, including a circular route that takes you up along the Haitian border and back down through the inside of the region.

And sure, look for the boys en route. But I think I'd like to take one I already know from SD with me to help me through the language issues. He'd just better not be the jealous type, however! (LOL)
