the cardinal is part of the problem not part of the solution.

Let's worry about what we can do and not what others won't do. How is that?

All of the medications on the list
except one are antibiotics and need a doctor's prescription in the states. Can they be bought freely in the DR? Do tell.

What are you freakin Drug Dealer? Who has access to those kinds of meds? Are you seriously asking someone get on a plane, and bring that shit down there? Are you nuts? We'd go directly to jail transporting that stuff. I know you're trying to help, but you went a little over board with that request. What about food, and vitamins?

This request was specifically for anyone that works in the AIDS field, as they access to these medications. Or, at the very least they can put can put me in touch with someone who can potentially help.

Anyway, I got the response I needed.

Or may be you have or know a friend that has been taking one of these medication or no longer taking these medication or has passed on. Instead of throwing the medications away. But Knowing your ass you don't even have any friends!!! again he was not asking you !! it was in general request take or leave IT!!!

I agree with Anthony and the following poster that these meds can be found. It's sometimes amazing what you can get in this world if you just ask, especially if you can tell the donors it's for a good cause.

And it is indeed possible to bring such meds to La Casa Rosada. I have done it twice. The meds I brought were anti-retrovirals. I got them from friends who either no longer needed them or who worked in the medical field. None of them were obtained illegally or illicitly. Granted, I live in a big city, where it is perhaps easier to get your hands on them.

It's also easy to bring such meds into the DR legally and hassle-free. Anthony gave me great advice when I was preparing for my first trip to the DR in 2005. I didn't even know Anthony, but I had seen about La Casa Rosada on his website and also booked a few nights with him at Monaga Guesthouse. So I telephoned him about it. He suggested I simply pack the meds in a separate container, throw in a printout of La Casa Rosada's web page, and tell customs what was in the bag only if they asked. Well, they didn't ask, and La Casa received over 8,000 tabs of meds packed in a beat-up suitcase I bought for $3 at the Goodwill store.

And that first visit to La Casa Rosada was one of the most gratifying experiences of my trip.

I'm glad to hear Anthony got some positive responses to his latest appeal.

Look people Protein Powder can be bought at GNC and Acetaminophen is Tylenol. I know you can at least get some Protein Powder and Tylenol for the kids before you prance your asses around on the Conde. I'm going to make sure to bring both when I get there next month. I challenge you all to do the same.

Ok, I just came back to add to my previous message that not only are Protein Powder and Acetaminophen sold over the counter, but so is Clotrimazole.

You all need to get a grip and get it together. I never understood why the gay community can hardly do shit without bashing each other. There are kids that could be helped in this - INNOCENT CHILDREN. They have HIV for a number of reasons that are not the fault of their own.

I urge all of you to contact your local CVS, Sam's Club, Costco, BJ's Wholesale, etc. to let the general manager know that you want to donate some items and see if you can get a discount. I know a Regional Manager of CVS and he is doing this for me.

The requests for medications are nothing new. I remember Anthony posting something similar a few years ago. The response of the flamer is also nothing new. I remember Anthony being flamed the prior time in a similar manner. It is as if some readers just can't wait to post negative stuff. Nothing else to do with your life, poster Sun Mar 22, 01:59:00 AM?
