The weather this past week has not been good. It has been rainy and overcast. Not nonstop rain, but definitely not beach weather. Friday is a holiday (labor day), but it will be celebrated on Monday, to give people a long weekend.
I finally found the apartment I was looking for. Now is the running around to help get things that are needed. Fortunately, the electricity in the apartment is already on. One of the cons about living here is dealing with bullshit trying to get a phone line, electricity and the like. But this one went nice and smoothly.
Gazela, the new club, seems to be finding its footing very nicely. Nice crowds this past weekend. On Sunday's it is free before 10pm, AND they have drink specials. No more problems with the electricity. This past Sunday they had a salsa contest. I even found video from the opening.

I do not feel the picture of the two Queens posted are fat, what's your problem??they are curvey and look lovely in there design gowns.. don't be so jealous...Just be happy for them.
Anthony, can you convince the JayDees people to put one or two pool tables in one of their rooms? I think The Sports Bar redux would do really well. We all - including the locals - don't always want to go to the classy clubs. There's a reason why David's Sports Bar was so popular. Think Pendulum and Kellers - or am I dating myself???.
Thats positive news espically for your tourist business,I am happy to hear that.Your country could certainly use the increase in business.The airlines have cut way down on the number of daily flights into Mexico this week.I heard just today on the local news that Cancum has lost just millions of dollars of income in the tourist industry due to this flu scare,plus no tour liners are leaving from the Port Of Galvenston this week either. Another sign of the amount of fear with this swine flu,not a good thing, espically for Mexico.we have 6 schools closed and no sport events shall take place for the next two weeks at any of our local schools, has a precaution.The Local Public Health System here in Houston have been working over time to keep this under control.Good communication on TV about what to do to help keep this at bay.Bottom line use good hand washing after being out in any public area.Just thought I would share some of what's been happening on my end.Thanks,JIM from Hou.,Tx.
