Mei Gui

Last night I went to an excellent Asian/Chinese restaurant in Barrio China (Chinatown, which is close to the colonial zone) called Mei Gui. Small place of maybe 10 tables that serves the most incredibly fresh food, perfectly seasoned Asian food. An incredible find. The prices are also perfect. For two people the bill was RD$1,600 pesos ($44 U.S.), and we had sushi, spring rolls, chicken dish, shrimp dish, refreshments and saki.

We dined twice while visiting Santo Domingo at this really nice little Chinese Restaurant. The food was excellent by far.Quality service with great attention to detail which inhanced our dinning experience.I would encourage anyone to try it out and see for them selves, prices in the medium range. English spoke there also.

Saw this place on your blog and glad we went. The food was off the chain. Thank you for this recommendation.
