The surfers in Cabarete came up with an ingenious way to protest the closing of a beach there. They decided to surf nude. And I support them wholeheartedly.

I always thought that beaches were public domain in the Dominican Republic. I think that what is happening is that landowners are closing access routes that pass through their properties to the beach.
Anthony can you find out if the protesters need a fluffer for their next protest before they go out to surf. I'd like to do my part to support their cause. ;)
Anonymous 2 your response was the most salient of the lot. It did not pertain to anything sexual, and I thank you for this. These surfers protested in the nude for a valid reason, not for a purient one!
These surfers protested in the nude to get attention.
Done.
"Sin ropa" is good!
No thats the kinda Protest I'd get behind ;) Those surfers are giving them a 'HARD' time.. I love it
Some of the posters here are so clever...like the one that wrote about "a HARD time". He should have his own TV show....
Why excuse you? You wrote what you desired, irrespective of the cause at hand which was, of course, to get attention as to what was and perhaps might be taken away from them: having freedom to use these particular waters for their sport!
If they marched out there-- proudly and nude-- of course, much ATTENTION would have been gotten.
I question if the powers to be will take their stance in hand and rectify the proposal. This is a wait and see matter from afar!
Y'all so naaasty...lol
