G.A.L.D.E. (Gay & Lesbian Dominican Empowerment) is having their 17th annual Picnic and Health Fair. It is this Sunday, July 29. 2007, under the George Washington Bridge. There will be music, Dominican food, HIV testing, and beautiful Dominican men, and their admirers. Entertainment by Lorena St. Cartier and RaLo.

Thanks again, Anthony, for posting about the picnic. The picnic ended up being a washout. It poured rain for hours on Sunday, so the picnic had to end early and the show was cancelled. RaLo was very disappointed he did not get to perform.
But we were at the rainy picnic long enough to have some delicious Dominican food. The volunteers worked so hard in the pouring rain. Didn't make it to the after-party, just ended up going home in the pouring rain to dry out. Oh well. Here's hoping next year's picnic is on a bright sunny day!
