Africa Party @ El Morocco

This past Sunday, Escandalo Nights threw their grand-opening party at the El Morocco Nightclub & Leopard Lounge. It is located at 3534 Broadway (corner of 145th Street). When I got up Monday, I got some messages from friends who had attended. The reviews were in. SPECTACULAR! Everyone can't wait for the next party in May.

Will you be there? Check out the Escandalo Nights website for more information: www.escandalonights.com.

What exactly is supposed to happen at these "escandalo" parties that makes them stand out? Lots of people? Liquor? Strippers? A few queens that look like animals? Just go on a Saturday to Jay Dee's! Been there, done that....

I think they stand out because NYC's nightlife sucks and this is a breath of fresh air. Stop hatin.

"From Egypt.." LOL. :-)

The brothers that promote the Escandalo Nights events have worked hard to build their Loyal audience with hot music, nice people and lovely venues. They did it on their own one party at a time. In addition they have supported other events along the way wanting nothing but to help.

They have always supported our events including Dominican Island Heat I & II, Bahian Heat and the White Party Moonlight Cruise. His contributions of bringing all people of color together is amazing.

The Escandalo Nights audience comes early to party, network, and pay the $15.00 cover without complaints. Drinks are not cheap at the club but that has become a sad factor of NYC.

We salute these brothers for doing it their way and staying true to their dream.
