A Dominican skateboarder from NYC just "ollied" 46 inches for a new record. I watched the video, and I guess it means jump? Okay, I am out of my element.

The Cabarete Kiteboarding World Cup 2008, will be finishing up today. Sixteen Dominicans entered the comptetition, and 11 made through to the main event. The event was won last year by a Dominican, Ariel Corniel, who was just 16 years old.

"ollie" is a no-hands aerial trick, i.e., the skater does not grab the board while doing the aerial.
You are getting to be a real "jock"!!!
I don't understand the sport, but he sure looked good doing what he does.
