If some of these Americans would stop coming down here and paying these boys outrageous amounts of money, it would be affordable. They deserve a fair fee but some of these guys are paying the same as a high class escort in New York.

Do the NY escorts give more for their "fee" than the Dominicans? If not, and IF you're willing to pay that high amount in NY, why pay the Dominicans less?
I so agree with blogger 9.21. Its a fact that the NY escorts will give you your 59 mins.and expect their money while the Dominican would most times spend the whole night.If they deserve it..I say pay them what they deserve.Some of these guys depend on that to support themselves and their family.

I checked the exchange rate and found out 1000 pesos was only about $28.00..Even by Dominican standards...you could not get a good meal for that price...I realize that everybody is hurting for cash with this economy but still.... when you get good service you SHOULD add a good tip to that miserly 28.00....that cannot rock any boat.

Some people like to flash money and pay huge fees to make others feel poor and deprived.....it is not a sexual pleasure, it is about trying to boost one's ego by paying like a millionaire.

Isn't it the typical American to try to pay less to the impoverished vendor anywhere in a poor, third world country that they travel to. Whether it be a Haitian or a poor Vietnamese who worked for days to create something just to etch out an honest living...wouldn't the American..who by the way can afford it, try to haggle the price down to almost nothing, just to say they got it cheap?..and there is no pang of the conscience about it either....

And let's not forget we're talking about more than just an artifact that somebody worked hard to create. This is (comparatively) rich people buying someone's body for a few hours/minutes of purely sexual self-gratification. I'm not saying you have to pay exhorbitant prices, but there's nothing wrong with adding a significant tip; you'll still be paying a helluva lot less than you would in NYC.
The guy who sells you a piece of "art" is probably proud of what he has created. Does anyone think the guy who has to sell you his dick or ass comes away with the same feeling? A lot depends on how you treat him, including how much you pay him.
Money makes the world go round and, yes, poverty sucks. However, a lot of these guys do what they do because deep down they like to and the money they get is just the icing on their cake! That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.
