Swine Flu?
I was joking with a friend yesterday about that if there were flu cases here they would be hushed up. Well someone flying from D.R. to Chile has been reported to have swine flu. It seems tourism numbers to the D.R. have increased over 19% since this epidemic was reported.
Hi Anthony,I can see why they would ( keep it under wrap)since they do not a Health Department, per-say, do they????However, after saying that, very simple steps can help keep all germs from spreading along with the flu virus at bay,, and that is Frequent Basic good hand washing often every day.Think of it this way, each and every time u touch a door nob or object ourside your home, consider when your able, wash your hands, simple has that. You be surprise how many germs u can clear your self of.Good Luck.Do not be fooled ,if the Swine flu is here, Mexico, and Canada then it most likely is every where, so be safe and use good common sense. Later, Jim,Houston, Tx.
The swine flu is everywhere and fortuantely except in a few isolated cases is less serious than regular flu. Everyone going should be sure to take some pocket size hand sanitizer. We know that most public rest rooms frequently lack water, soap or even towels.....and there is so much handshaking.....be careful but I am not afraid at all of my upcoming trip to the DR but I will have my hand sanitizer.
I hope the DR, Brazil and PR are spared of the swine flu.
Today after work, my co-worker drove me to a doctor's office for my asthma, while sitting in there waiting to be called I noticed so many parents with children leaving from seing a doctor and coming in to see a doctor.....I got my "culo" up and told the receptionist maybe i'll be back in the early morning. Too many children waiting to see the doctor and how things are in nYc with school closing and so many school age young children getting sick, I just felt it was time to leave....OK OK call me paranoid! but shoeeeeeeeee..asthma is enuff-i'll leave the "S" flu alone, thank you!!!!
Nena did I get this right?? Do you live in N.Y.City???For some reason I thought you were from P.R.or some Island in the Caribbean..Thats great if you do,thats a great city has I understand it.Even though I was brough up and educated in up state New York, far north, close to the Canadian boarder,I never got to New York City, shame isn't it???maybe some day,it is never too late til they close your box.Right Nena??? smile..JIM From Houston,Texas
I really hope Pres. Obama revamps Medical coverage/insurance. This a.m. I had to go to the ER at Mt.Sinai for my asthma and at 8:30a.m. it was packed with parents and children (I've never ever witnessed that before). I was triaged and taken into critical care division for an emergency treatment for my asthma after 4 hours I was discharged and went to the discharged office---even with my medical coverage I had to pay a $50 co-payment for an emergency asthma attack that couldn't wait for my medical provider/general practioner. The hospital staff didn't want to bill me in fact they "demanded" payment at that time. Luckily, I when I first left to go to the ER I decided to go back to my apartment and get my credit card....luckily I was able to charge it also. Co-payment for ER for an emergency asthma treatment is ridiculous ($50)and I have full coverage...If you don't have "medicaid" and you are working/middle class with coverage you still get royally F**ked with medical insurance....IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED! Most were at the ER for Swine Flu systems as the hospital went on overload alert and made anyone coughing wear masks and am I correct to say this is "2009"??!
Yes Jim, I'm what you call a "nuyorican"---new york rican!I lived there as a teenager for awhile and wish I could retire and live there till my last breath! But I travel to the caribbean and get my fix of the islands, the beauty, the sun and the oceans...!if only NYS Lottery and Yolanda VEGA calls my numbers...hahahaha! btw: Yolanda Vega became a famous Puerto Rican Female announcing in her unique way the Lotto and Mega numbers on Television.(for those not from NYC and didn't know who Ms. Vega is)Jim the PR day parade is coming up in NYC-first sunday in JUNE....talk about eye candy and.......... smile!Anthony should remember!
Nena, that PR day parade sounds like it would be just the "TEA" and exciting to par-take.Bet the streets are just packed with handsome sexy latin studs to die for..u lucky one, enjoy and have fun for me..smile..Thanks for the tease Nena, take some pictures an maybe post a few, is that possible?? PR is also a place I would love to visit one of these days. Do you they have lots of sexy latin studs available for those in need???..SMILE .. Thanks..JIM from Hous.,Tx.

Jim, the saturday before the PR day parade there is a large street fair in my neighborhood (el barrio-spanish harlem) that eye candy is the prerequisite to the parade...bodies, hunks and faces to die for....! It kinda lost the "ambiance" for me after many years of just going down stairs and checking it out....I used to have small get to gethers back in the 90s and then we would go on the hunt...hahahaha! I'll see what i'll do, if anything and try and take some pics...I'm not as camera happy with taking pics anymore....I always ask myself why!
Well tonite is Mega lotto....let's see if I become a "millionairess" hahaahah enjoy the holiday weekend ALL especially those in the DR...iiiight Antonio!
