Facebook

I just signed up for Facebook over a week ago, and already I have made contact with people I have not heard from in 20 years. But today a friend sent me a video that was made in 1981. I was a senior at Cass Technical High School in Detroit, Michigan. Back then it was the only magnet school in the city, and attracted talented students from all over Detroit. I was a part of the performing arts department, and I was very active in school theater. In this video on Youtube that my friend Ron sent me, you can see me at the 50 second mark. We were rehearsing a play. I was playing the co-lead (Matthew Harrison Brady), of course, in Inherit the Wind. You can also see me at the end with my arms outstretched. The power of the internet is amazing. I have very few pictures of myself during this time. To think there is video of me when I was fifteen years old is just amazing. The power of the internet is incredible. Thanks, Ron!

I love it, Anthony. It's so cool that someone made this little film, and it brought back how influential Fame was back then, all over the US. The scene of everybody dancing in the lunchroom is my favorite scene after the one featuring you. Those great songs from that era, and the fashions!

Say Anthony, this is remarkable, how wonderful that you have a piece of your moving history on tape, thats unbelieveable. What a gift and I bet it brought back many good old menories from your school days. For some reason I always thought you were from the big Apple, N.Y.City. or Washington, D.C.never Detroit, Mich. but your school was alive back then. funny to see how big there glasses were back then, plus the fashon style has well.Good music for sure.Very interesting and your blessed to have this..(JFHT)

Alright now. Who knew you were a music and arts man. Great you have that video. I am sure there are more videos out there of you. Let's see who can find them. It could be a contest to win a free week at Camillo House. What do you say?
