I know it is becoming like a broken record, but great weather again this past weekend. Though I hear there is a storm (tropical/hurricane?) threatening. Should know more in the next 24-hours about how it will affect us.
Strolled around the Zona Colonial this past Sunday, and I'm glad I did. The photos around the Parque de Independencia have been changed. They feature people who work in the Dominican Fashion establishment. There were many photos I recognize. Then, at the park in front of the Church on el Conde, there is a church bazaar, with many artists out selling their wares. I picked up a few things, especially some home-made soap that is just to die for. There was even a 14-year old from La Casa Rosada, who was selling her hand-made jewelry designs.
Great Sunday.

Poor Sammy Sosa. He just can't catch a break. He is being vilified for the perceived (according to the Dominican blogs) slight of inviting very few people-of-color. Then, on top of that he had the nerve to have foreign chefs. What's a multi-millionaire to do?
