Alberto and Fernando, of Escandalo Nights, are throwing their annual White Party. July 31, 2007, at Umbrella, in upper Manhattan. If you look at pictures from some of their other parties, you will see that not only do they have great music, and entertainment, but the hottest(!) strippers in NYC.
Scotch, from Casa New Yorker, has left the country. Call me psychic, but I don't think he is going to miss the country very much at all. The best to you, Scotch. I would say make sure to come back for a visit, but I will probably see you in NYC first. There is a little rumor, not confirmed yet, that someone might be taking over Casa New Yorker. Stay tuned.
I don't know how many of you know, but 10% of cocaine bound for the U.S. passes through the Dominican Republic. CNN has done a great report on the matter. You can see the text version online here.

Yeah? 10% passes through SD? From the looks of it, I'd say that quite a bit of it stays here or there...
Nena! Mi amiga! Where are you? I'll have a few Presidentes in your name! Send me an email.
Got to get back to my seat at Paco's or I'll loose it...lots of people from NYC and California around!

Hi Rafeal, say are you and your friends having a good time and How is the night life???is the cerfew still on??Enjoy your self and have fun, send me a note and fill me in, thanks. How was your little journey outside Santo Domingo that you were plannig to take, was it all you expected or not?? Thanks, Jim from Houston
Just got back yesterday from SD after 11 days of sun, fun, rain and more rain...Our plane was delayed from taking off for about 25 minutes because of all the thunder and lightning although after that we did have a smooth flight over to PR. American Airlines is milking both Dominicans and PRs flying to DR for every penny they can get! Prices are outrageous especially for June/July and Dec./January months. Anyway, we had a good time even with the curfew. Spent some days in Puerto Plata, got really tanned at Aura's in Juan Dolio, visited friends in San Cristobal, and hit some of the clubs as usual. You do have to get out of the city once in a while or you will probably be bored to death unless you enjoy sitting at Paco's all day long. In conclusion, we had a good time...including Bingo night! My best to Anthony, too! See ya' in October.
From Puerto Rico,
Rafael
