Arlenis Sosa is on the cover of the latest issue of Time magazine. This Dominican supermodel-in-training keeps kicking ass. This month marks her first full year as a professional model. Wow!

In the first two photos I thought for sure that she was Grace Jones!
I guess the 'exotic' look is in vogue again! Why can't they treat people of color as just plain drop dead gorgeous instead of giving the girl the cover then making her up beyond recognition???? I have never seen them do Christie Brinkley (dating myself), Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss, or any of those anglo girls like that. Shisssh - women of color are from the same planet they are from and have contributed more to this planet than they ever will!!!
She's stunning.
Hi Thanks u have printed photo's of her before and she remains just the most gorgeous person, so elegant and deliciously beautiful..JIM From Hosuotn,Tx.
I agree with the second post. It's as though they have to make black people this exotic "thing" and somehow apart from regular good ole blackness fineness.
They'll never get it.
She is FABULOUS and it is fashion...RELAX!! I've been following this lovely chile for the past year and I am just overjoyed at how she is letting them HAVE IT!!! Her being 'unrecognizable' is just a teastament to her amazing chameleon OVERNESS!! Did that make any sense? Because she can totally be transformed into whatever, is the tool that will take her to international SUPERSTARDOM!!! I saw an interview with her during fashion week and she still has a wide-eyed innocence that is sooo endearing. And her accent is so sweet, she speaks english like Grashy.. I LIVE!! DIANDRA
